History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
