Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a pastel tunic with brown highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a tan coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and retire the richest man in the west

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
