History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He is in excellent shape and tends to wear a white poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Description: This late middle aged man sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear and is in decent physical shape. His tied-back hair is silver. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man is very fat, and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has no hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and revenge
