History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
