Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sage. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the south to a Sage, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
