Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Heward is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this western man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is wracked by social anxiety
