History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is dressed in an above average manner. He has shaved his head bald. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with tan slacks. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Charles was born with his father's beautiful face. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he seems to be bored by most things
