Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Carter business.

History: Born to a Glassblower, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform During his travels, Hubert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hubert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hubert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
