History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Gerard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... History: Gerard was born with his mother's beautiful face. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in mace use. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Baker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
