Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He carries with him a set of tridents, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blonde hair is cut short. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and to be a barkeep again

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
