Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Odo was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Raymond is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Raymond was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He has achieved small success as a Ploughman.
Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Jeweler born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Solomon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
