History: He was raised in a island tribe. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hubert's homeland. Hubert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born into a rich family. Anselm liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
