History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
