Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
