Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a Dyer soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. A true patriot, Roland would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Randal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
