Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Randal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. William was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
