History: He comes from a rich western family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and many illithids want him driven away
