Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his feathered violet hat.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. His chestnut hair is lengthy. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in the west to a Painter, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
