This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
