History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: Born in the south to a Gardener, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
