History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This younger middle-aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Hugh is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. A true patriot, Guy would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has achieved small success as a Painter.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and further expansion of business
