History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.
