History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Everard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
