History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Miner. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A true patriot, Gilbert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He struck the Stableman job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Barber again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
