History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Patrick was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he very much looks the part of a Stableman. His hair is black and very short. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a Stableman soon after.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Scribe business.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job
