Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
