He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is greedy

Personality: He is fixated on the number 27. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

History: Roger was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
