History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This southern man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. His clothes are grease stained in places. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and expand his business

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His brown hair is cut short. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
