Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, marred by sweets. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Hubert was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bather. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.
