History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in a small island village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
