He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
