Description: This late middle aged man wears white trousers with blue and violet striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts and is in decent physical shape. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. He has green eyes and a white hat with a blue feather.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: Standing 6'2", this man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his top yellow hat.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it, marred by sweets. His hair is short and white. He has green eyes and a violet hat with a black feather.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Gunter began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'9". He is well dressed, constantly wearing a red suit, white shirt, and green tie, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a dull look in his green eyes.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
