He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Guy studied abroad. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Anselm was born with his mother's beautiful face. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
