History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This light-skinned male is typically in his Miner uniform. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 17. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He takes great joy in being the best Miner in town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has worked as a Slave Trader like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
