Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Conrad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Conrad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.
