Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Masseuse, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Tim is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now mingles about in high society.
