History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thomas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
