History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Guy was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Charles will drive conversation. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Healer, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and to be a painter again

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and someone believes him a fraud
