Conrad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
