History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Manfred hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. After coming to the age of reason, Shane took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality
