He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: Lance is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
