The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Godfrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Richard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
