History: John was born with his father's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He got into the Tailor business at a young age. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.
