History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gilbert studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
