History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Arnold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
