History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he loathes his own lifestyle

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spy. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.
