Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by drow. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants revenge against drow

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to pay off his debts
