History: Adelard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
