Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He has no hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Gerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he usually wears his violet robe and has his crossbow always slung over his shoulder. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small violet hat.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. When Drogo reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult
