Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Nicholas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barber. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
